Toledo returns 15 starters and the Rockets breezed past Long Island 37-0 last week as QB DeQuan Finn completed 21 of 28 for 216 yards and ran for 64 yards on 12 carries and the game went UNDER by 20 points. Massachusetts still is wondering why it ever became an FBS school as the Minutemen are 6-35 straight up 12-25 ATS since 2018 and they got blown out again on Saturday 42-10 at Tulane. The QB stats for UMass are downright embarrassing as Gino Campiotti and Brady Olson combined to complete four passes on 11 attempts for a total of 17 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions. The Minutemen did have 200 rushing yards, but also allowed 196 yards on the ground. Toledo won and covered last year's meeting 45-7 and it went UNDER by 4.5 points. UMass is 0-6 ATS its last six non-conference games and 6-18 ATS its past 24 road games, 4-11 ATS overall its past 15 September games. The Rockets are 15-7-1 ATS in September and 5-1 ATS overall following an ATS loss. UMass apparently has little or no passing game and will keep running the ball again using a lot of clock. Make it a Max Play on Toledo to cover, and take the UNDER as well.
