Maryland at Indiana

Perhaps the biggest surprise in the Big-10 this season has been Maryland at 5-2. The Terrapins are running the ball with great success, and have averaged 43 rushes per game while generating a hefty 250 yards per contest. Lorenzo Harrison is averaging 7.7 yards per carry, and Ty Johnson an amazing 10.2 on 47 carries. The tandem has caused problems for everyone, and is the big reason why the Terps have had success. Indiana has crashed and burned after a 3-1 start, and have dropped three straight games. The offense has lost its way as the Hoosiers have averaged just 17.7 points per game in the three losses. Opponents are killing them on the ground, and in the three losses opponents have run the ball 139 times or 46.3 times per game. They are going to get another heavy dose of running from Maryland, and until they prove they can stop a running game, that has also been limiting their offense, you have to go against them. Take Maryland in this one.
