The Maryland offense is now down to their fifth-string QB as injuries have plagued this team at the position. What makes matters worse is that their top running back is dealing with an injury and he is average to begin with. It is likely that the Terps may produce zero points in this game vs. a Clemson team that is 8-1 on the season, losing only at Florida State. The Maryland defense, which is very good, is showing wear and tear from extended time on the field. They were really worn down last week vs. Georgia Tech who softened them up with 56 running plays. The Clemson offense has gone for 37 or more points in each of their last eight games, including on the road vs. a top level Florida State defense. It is likely they get into the 40s here vs. a Maryland defense that has simply spent too much time on the field. Under Randy Edsall, this Terps team is unbelievably bad after a loss (1-12 ATS). Take Clemson.
