Marshall at Old Dominion

Marshall had a good start to the season, but has lost two of three allowing 37 and 34 points in a pair of losses. The Thundering Herd rank #85 in the nation on offense with little balance, averaging just 127.2 yards rushing per contest. They come off a home loss to Middle Tennessee State as a favorite, their fourth straight non-cover. They were a 32-point favorite over Eastern Kentucky and won just 32-16. They are favored again on the road against an Old Dominion offense that is clicking behind QB Blake LaRussa (nine TDs, three INTs). He has started the last three games leading the team to 49, 35 and 33 points. That included a 49-35 upset of Virginia Tech as a +28 dog as LaRussa threw for 495 yards. This is their first home game since that big win. Old Dominion's offense is averaging 407.7 yards per game, including 304.2 yards passing.
