Marshall at Miami Ohio

Miami, Ohio looks to avenge last year's 31-26 loss to Marshall which was outgained 429-267 by the Red Hawks, but still managed to pull out a win. Miami returns 16 starters, including the entire offensive line and and eight on a very experienced defense. Quarterback Gus Ragland started nine games in 2017 and completed 150-of-269 passes for 2,032 yards and 19 touchdowns, including 298 yards and two touchdowns in the Marshall game. Miami is 4-0 ATS its last four games with rest and revenge and the home team is 6-0 ATS the last six meetings. The Thundering Herd improved to 8-5 a year ago following a 3-9 season in 2016, but it has to replace three-year starter Chase Litton at quarterback as he declared for the NFL Draft. Alex Thomson will take over after playing only two games last year due to injury and was a transfer from Wagner. Marshall also has a new offensive coordinator in Tim Cramsey.
