Marshall at Cincinnati

Marshall comes off a 21-0 whitewashing of Kent State in a game that went UNDER by 29 points and the Golden Flashes were held to 259 total offensive yards. Chase Litton was 23-of-43 for 223 yards and a touchdown for the Thundering Herd and Tyler King ran for 101 yards on 14 carries. Cincinnati is playing its first home game against an FBS opponent in Luke Fickell's first year as coach. The Bearcats averaged only 19 points last year on offense and lost seven of their last eight games. Cincy managed only 2.5 yards per carry in its loss to Navy last week, but quarterback Hayden Moore finished 28-of-46 for 381 yards and three touchdowns. However, the Bearcats were overwhelmed by Navy's option, which produced 569 rushing yards. Marshall is 21-7-1 ATS its last 29 non-conference games and Cincinnati has covered the number just four of its last 14 games and just once over its last 10 home contests. Also, Marshall has gone UNDER in eight of its last 11 games and the Bearcats are 18-7-1 UNDER their last 26 games overall, including their last four home games.  The Thundering Herd appears to have made more progress rebounding from last season than Cincinnati.
