Marshall at Bowling Green

Everyone is expecting Marshall to have a big letdown after stunning Notre Dame, but the Thundering Herd totaled 219 rushing yards and Henry Colombi completed 16 of 21 for 145 yards and a touchdown and no interceptions against the Fighting Irish. Khalan Laborn ran for 163 yards and Rasheen Ali is back on the practice field after missing the first two games for undisclosed reasons and possibly could play in this game. Ali ran for 1,401 yards and led the nation in touchdowns (25) and points scored (150) in 2021. Bowling Green already has had an exhausting season even after only two games. The Falcons traveled to UCLA and lost 45-17 and then went home and suffered a seven-overtime defeat to Eastern Kentucky by a 59-57 score. Matt McDonald threw for 283 yards and five touchdowns and ran for 64 yards and another score for the Falcons. However, Bowling Green still is only 10-33 since 2018 and 11-20 ATS. Marshall is 6-2 ATS its past eight non-conference games and it has covered its last four road games. The Falcons are 9-25 ATS their last 34 home games and 8-21 ATS overall in September.
