Marshall at Boise State

The Boise State Broncos played against Florida State last week and it looked very bad for this team early. They were down 31-13 with four minutes to play in the second quarter, but scored the game's last 23 points to come away with a hard-fought 36-31 win. That may leave this team a bit mentally, physically, and emotionally spent as they take on Marshall at home. Marshall was the Boise State of Mid-American Conference from 1997-2005 where they went 65-12. They were down for a bit but the program is rising, having won nine games or more in four of the last six years. The Thundering Herd certainly has a lot of good pieces from a nine-win team from last season. While Boise State bowed its back last week, there are still a lot of question marks surrounding this team that has lost its four-year starting QB, top running back, and top two receivers from last year's team as well as a lot of pieces from their defense. I think Marshall has the pedigree of not being intimidated here and catching Boise State in a tough spot. Play on Marshall.
