LSU at Syracuse

Les Miles has had his signature on both sides of the ball since coming over to LSU. His team will always be strong defensively, and he seems to always have a QB issue, aside from when Zack Mettenberger was there. They have shown the same propensity this season, and defense will be their calling card. Syracuse may be hard-pressed to score at all in this one. Syracuse lost starting QB Terrel Hunt in their opener with a torn Achilles tendon. Reserve QB Eric Dungey was lost last week to a back injury after taking a hit in the second quarter vs. Central Michigan. Syracuse is without a threat at WR as no player has more than five catches so far this season. That means LSU is going to stack the box, and it will be a long afternoon for the Cuse offense, and that will make getting over the top of the total here very difficult. Take the UNDER.
