Louisville at NC State

NC State will get a chance to validate themselves under the bright Thursday Night lights at home. The Wolf Pack has cracked the Top 25 with four straight wins, and has scored at least 27 points in all five games. The lowest output came against Florida State, and they will see a similar defense in this one vs. Louisville. The big difference, however, is the Florida State offense was without DeAndre Francois and could not move the ball. That gave the Pack ample opportunities against the Florida State defense. The offense will not be on the field as much in this one as Louisville QB Lamar Jackson is one of the best. NC State does, however, do a great job against the run in allowing just 2.9 yards per carry, and could contain Jackson to some degree. Overall, I think this total is set too high in a high-stakes game on national TV. Thursday Night home dogs have been 62-82-3 O/U, cashing at 57%. Make the play on the UNDER.
