The Wildcats knew the offense would be in trouble this year after the departures of Randall Cobb (13 TD), Derrick Locke (10 TD) and Chris Matthews (9 TD). Kentucky reached the end-zone 53 times last season, with the above mentioned trio delivering 32 of them. If that wasn’t bad enough, QB Mike Hartline is gone as well. The offense will be starting from empty, and despite 27 points vs. a not-very-good Central Michigan team, the Wildcats managed just 14 first downs in the game. Louisville lost a lot of close games a year ago (five by 8 points or less) because the offense simply wasn't very good and they now have to replace the QB. It has shown with a combined 38 points vs. Murray State and Florida International. I'm not sure where the points are going to come from here. The Louisville offense is in a rebuilding mode, and typically starts slow as they are 23-11 to the UNDER in their last 34 played in September. The UNDER has gone 5-2 in the last seven in this series and this one projects accordingly. Play the UNDER.
