Louisville at Georgia Tech

Louisville will hope to have a high-powered offense with new coach Jeff Brohm, who had success at Western Kentucky and Purdue, but it will take time to get everyone on the same track. Jack Plummer, who played for Brohm for four years at Purdue and then transferred to California, will be the Louisville starting quarterback. However, three starters are gone from the offensive line and only four full-time offensive starters return. The Cardinals do still have top rusher Jawhar Jordan, who gained 815 yards on 5.7 yards per carry. Georgia Tech hired Brent Key after he coached four of its five wins last year and he is a former offensive coordinator at Alabama. The Yellow Jackets return only five starters on offense with Haynes King the QB after he transferred from Texas A&M. King completed 55.6 percent of his passes with seven TDs and six interceptions last season with the Aggies.
