Louisiana Tech at Florida International

Florida International has gone UNDER six of its 10 games this season, including the past four as the oddsmakers continue to post inflated totals for the Golden Panthers, whose last two games stayed UNDER by an average of nearly 20 points. FIU averages only 18.1 points per game and the defense has turned it around after a monumental 73-0 rout by Western Kentucky on Sept. 24. The Golden Panthers have allowed a total of 85 points their past four games as first-year coach Mike MacIntyre attempts to get the pregram back on track following a 1-16 record by the Panthers the last two seasons. Louisiana Tech lost 42-41 in overtime to Rice and that is another reason why this total is so high. The Bulldogs will have to face an improving defense from Florida International, which has gone UNDER its past six October games.
