Louisiana Tech at Florida International

Louisiana Tech has been very offensive on the season, generating 7.7 yards per play vs. a schedule of teams that allow 6.1. That has not been the case with Florida International this season, as their offense has been considerably below average vs. their schedule of opponents. That is going to make a rather lofty total difficult to achieve, because it requires two teams contributing significantly. FIU has gotten into the 20s and 30s the last three weeks, but that was against the likes of UTEP, Charlotte, and Florida Atlantic. They did not manage more than 14 points in their first four games against teams better than they are. Holtz' teams have been known for tightening things up in the second half of the season, as they are 44-27 to the UNDER during the second half. FIU is 38-15 to the UNDER after generating fewer than 100 yards on the ground in their last game, as well as 10-1 to the UNDER when they are coming off two conference wins. Make the play on the UNDER.
