New Mexico lost its last seven games last year and finally got a win over an FBS team with its 42-25 victory at New Mexico State last week. However, the Lobos are 2-5 ATS their last seven home games and 2-6 ATS their last eight games overall. Also, New Mexico does not have a recent history of putting together back-to-back good performances as it is 8-17 ATS its last 25 games after scoring at least 40 points its previous game. Liberty is in its first season as an FBS school and you'll remember that the Flames defeated Baylor 48-45 last season as a 34-point underdog and they averaged 32.5 points last year. The Flames opened this season with a 52-10 blowout win over Old Dominion, which beat Virginia Tech on Saturday. Liberty returns 16 starters from last year's squad, including quarterback Stephen Calvert, who had an off game against North Texas but he threw for 3,363 yards with 29 touchdowns in 2017. Look for the Flames to keep this one close and grab the points with Liberty.
