These clubs met last year and Kentucky rolled to 63 points in an easy 35-point win. Western Kentucky had just one win since joining the FBS in 2007, and last year they generated just two. Kentucky had their first losing season since 2005 last year, and I look them to come out inspired in this first game. In their first four years facing BCS teams, Western Kentucky has allowed over 40 points per game, while scoring under 10. With a motivated Wildcats team looking to atone for a poor season last year, this one could easily get ugly. The Wildcats are 20-8 ATS in their last 28 September games. I don't see the Hilltoppers showing much resistance and I like Kentucky.
