Kentucky at Auburn

This is the opening game for both of these SEC rivals, and a pair of Top 25 teams. Kentucky has been to four straight bowls and is off an 8-5 campaign. In fact, they've won six of their last eight, including a 37-30 Belk Bowl win over Virginia Tech. The team looks very strong again with exceptional returning depth at almost every position. The offensive line is outstanding blocking for a terrific trio of RBs in Asim Rose, Kavosiey Smoke, and Chris Rodriguez, Jr. They combined for 1,975 yards in 2019, and the bulk of the Wildcats defense returns. Kentucky is 11-5 ATS as a road underdog. Auburn won only one more game than Kentucky did last season. QB Bo Nix returns (16 TDs, 6 picks as a freshman), and he struggled against the top SEC teams in losses to Florida and LSU, completing 41.9 percent of his passes with four picks. The defense also lost two of its top players in Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson.
