Kent State at Minnesota

The Minnesota Golden Gophers have taken the high road in their out-of-conference schedule early. They played one of the top teams in the country in TCU, as well as having already gone to Colorado State. The Horned Frogs are expected to run the table, or perhaps be a one-loss team, and they almost got that loss in week one vs. Minnesota. The Golden Gophers lost by just six points as a huge dog. They then went to the high altitude at Colorado State against a team that had won nine straight at home and 14 of their last 16, and came away with an OT win. This week they will be able to do a lot of damage against a Kent State team that was hammered 52-3 against an Illinois team that isn't nearly as good as Minnesota. The Golden Flashes have never been competitive vs. the Big-10 where they own a woeful 1-10 ATS mark in their last 11 against them. Minnesota has been very big on defense, and Kent State, like their game vs. Illinois, may not find the end-zone. Make the play on Minnesota.
