Kent State at Central Florida

Kent State has a new coach in Kenni Burns, who will try to keep the same uptempo offensive attack going. The defense is a concern and they gave up 78 points in their first two games of the 2022 campaign, both on the road. Kent State is 67-35 OVER the total when they allow 28 or more points. Central Florida knows something about uptempo offenses, too, with coach Gus Malzahn. They averaged 41.3 points early last year during their 5-1 start. QB John Rhys Plumlee (862 rushing yards) returns along with RB R.J. Harvey (796 yards) and speedy back Johnny Richardson (370 yards, 6.9 yards per carry).
