Kent State at Ball State

The Kent State Golden Flashes almost shocked Northern Illinois a year ago in the MAC Championship game, losing in overtime. But they have lost a lot of pieces from that team, and the result has been a not-so-pretty 2-4 start. The ugly part of the 2-4 record is that they have yet to beat a team that has recorded a FBS win, and their four losses have been by a combined 99 points. Ball State is a much-improved team that plays fast when they have the ball, and can score quickly. The result thus far is a 5-1 start on the season. This is a team averaging 41.3 points per game and Kent State just isn't going to be able to keep them down, nor score enough to hang tough here.
