It's been a disappointing season for Gary Patterson's TCU squad. It comes in off a 27-26 loss to lowly Kansas as a 13.5-point favorite for the Horned Frogs' third loss in a row. They now are 0-5 ATS their last five games. Before the season, the Horned Frogs would have been a big favorite in this matchup, but now it's a little more than a touchdown and they'll be hard-pressed to cover it. When TCU has played well on defense, the offense has struggled and vice versa, and the team has also been ravaged by injuries. Quarterbacks Shawn Robinson and Justin Rogers are out with injuries, so the starting job has gone to sophomore Michael Collins, who went 23-of-33 for 351 yards with a touchdown and an interception against the Jayhawks. Patterson has never lost four games in a row, but that trend will be in jeopardy this week. Kansas State has covered the number in three of its last four, including close losses to Texas and Baylor. KSU has covered five in a row when following a loss and the Wildcats are 6-1-1 ATS their last eight when following an ATS loss. TCU is 0-7 ATS its last seven conference games and just 7-19 ATS its last 26 home games and 3-8 ATS its last 11 games versus teams with losing records. Grab the points with Kansas State.
