Kansas State already is feeling the effects of not having Bill Snyder as its coach anymore as the Wildcats went 8-5 last year, but return only nine starters, including just three on offense while losing the entire starting offensive line. So the loss to Arkansas State in the opener shouldn't have been a huge surprise, although the Wildcats were 15.5-point favorites. What's worse, Kansas State has had a host of COVID problems as it was without about 35 players against Arkansas State, and it could be worse this week. The Wildcats had 374 total offense yards, but the Red Wolves finished with 489, and Kansas State quarterback Skylar Thompson completed 17 of 29 for 259 yards and two touchdowns. Oklahoma annihilated Missouri State, 48-0, but also has been affected by COVID mostly due to contact tracing. Spencer Rattler passed for 290 yards and four touchdowns against the Bears, and he only played two quarters while completing 14 of 17. The Sooners gained 608 total yards, including 484 passing. This is a revenge game for the Sooners, who lost last year's meeting, 48-41, as a 23.5-point favorite. The home team has covered the last four meetings, and the Sooners have gotten the money their last four September games. Take Oklahoma.
