Premium Pick

James Madison made a seamless transition from FCS to FBS as the Dukes went 8-3 in 2022 and 6-4 ATS in their first year in the Sun Belt. The Dukes won their opener this year 38-3 against Bucknell with an offense that looked much different from last season's squad as the they ran for 261 yards, including 125 on 12 carries by Kaelon Black. James Madison had to replace Todd Centeio, the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year who passed for 2,697 yards and 25 touchdowns with only five interceptions last year. Three QBs played against Bucknell and combined for 12 of 24 for 175 yards and two TDs and one pick. The defense returns six starters from a squad that allowed 21 points per game in 2022 and the Bison were held to only 208 total yards and the game went UNDER by 12 points. Virginia picked up where it left off last season and not in a good way as it was blown out 49-13 by Tennessee and it was made worse with QB Tony Muskett's shoulder injury and he will be a game-time decision. Even if he plays, the Cavaliers' offensive line appears to be unable to protect him judging from Saturday's game. Virginia is 4-0 UNDER after allowing at least 40 points its previous game and it is 0-6 ATS its past six non-conference games. James Madison is 10-1 ATS versus teams with losing records and 5-2 UNDER overall its past seven games. Virginia is 6-3-1 UNDER dating to last season. Dual Max Plays: Take James Madison and the UNDER.
