James Madison at Charlotte

James Madison went 11-2 last year but they won't look the same. Curt Cignetti left for Indiana, so new coach Bob Chesney takes over. They lost key players, too, including 96% of the offensive production. Star QB Jordan McCloud (35 TDs, 10 INTs) is gone with transfer Dylan Morris taking over. While at Washington, Morris threw 20 TDs and 17 interceptions in four seasons. The defense has more returning talent on a unit that allowed just 2.6 yards per carry. Charlotte had a weak offense last season but looks better and balanced with quarterback Max Brown, a transfer who played with the Florida Gators last season, and RB Cartevious Norton. Norton spent two seasons at Iowa State with 655 yards, 3.8 yards per carry.
