Iowa State at TCU

Yes TCU is 10-1, but come on, the Mountain West was waaay down this season, and the Horned Frogs are probably not as good as their record would seem to indicate. Iowa State had more tough luck and truthfully was the best team in the Big 12 North this season, so they are a pretty solid value play here. QB Meyers struggled a bit in his second season but this team can move the football on just about anyone, and their DL is a terror for opposing offenses. Underdogs of 3.5 to 10 points off a loss vs an opponent off 4+ wins are 48-11 over the past five seasons. It has been a long time since TCU has even been hit in the mouth by an opponent, and Iowa State thinks they are a program on their way up in the Big 12 North. TCU will likely be a bit rusty here as they haven't played since November 12th. That's nearly a month and a half! ISU is 2-1 ATS this year as a dog away from home while TCU is just 1-2 as an away favorite. Don't let the records fool you - ISU is the better ballclub and they are getting points. This will be a very good football game. One that Iowa State should win outright..
