Iowa State at Nebraska

We have have had multiple opportunities to watch these two teams play this season and this is a generous line for the Huskers. The only way they win this game, regardless of their home crowd advantage, is if their defense causes four or five turnovers. We don't see that happening here. ISU looked bad last week in a tuneup at Army, but ISU has this game circled and looks to end the hex in Lincoln this weekend. Taylor will not have an easy day against the agressive and tough front four of the Clones. Nebraska is 1-8 ATS after allowing 9 points or less last game over the last 3 seasons. Something smells in Lincoln thus far, and we are not believers. In years past they would put up 60+ points against a team like Maine. This year they scored 25. They should have lost last week to Pittsburgh as 8 point favorites but eeked out a 7-6 victory thanks to missed field goals by Pitt. They will have had to improved a ton in their off week to win here. The Clones handled Iowa 23-3 earlier this season and have what it takes to pull off the road upset in this one.
