Iowa State at Kansas

The Kansas Jayhawks have not found themselves in too many winnable situations over the past few seasons, but they have a good opportunity at home this week vs, Iowa State. The Cyclones come in at an identical 2-6 on the season, and they are 10 points removed from being 0-8 on the season, so there isn't much margin of error for this team. Kansas was severely overmatched by the Baylor offense, which seemed to be the norm a year ago. However, the margins in Jayhawks' games this season have truly been reduced as they have become a lot more competitive. Kansas' last five losses last season were all by 20 points or more, while this season none of their last three, prior to Baylor, have been by 20 or more. Those games include Oklahoma State and West Virginia, so we are witnessing some turnaround with the Jayhawks.
