Iowa State at Iowa

The Iowa Hawkeyes had what was supposed to be an easy one last week. Most thought that they would bring a little attitude to their game against Ball State after struggling in week one with Northern Iowa in a 31-23 win as a 17-point chalk. They stumbled again last week in a lackluster 17-13 win against Ball State. The defense has been good, but is the offense going to give them enough, especially laying large numbers? From what we have seen the answer to that is a resounding "no," and has been the problem here for years. Iowa State has always been the team to come in hungry for this in-state rivalry and they have covered seven of the last eight played in Kinnick Stadium. This will be an even hungrier Iowa State team coming in at 0-2, and with Baylor on deck, this is a win or else situation for the Cyclones.
