Iowa at Penn State

Penn State appears to have given up on the short season and one can't blame the Nittany Lions, who have yet to win or cover in an 0-4 start. Iowa started 0-2 and then reeled off two blowout victories over Michigan State and Minnesota by a combined score of 84-14. Tyler Goodson rushed for a career-high 142 yards and two touchdowns and the Hawkeyes racked up 235 yards on the ground against the Gophers. Penn State lost 30-23 to Nebraska even while outgaining the Huskers 501-298. Penn State coach James Franklin benched QB Sean Clifford for Will Levis with Nebraska leading 27-6, but the Nittany Lions came up just short as Levis' pass fell incomplete on a fourth-and-goal with less than a minute remaining. Iowa is 19-7 ATS its last 26 games as a road favorite and Penn State is 5-19-2 ATS following a loss. Also, the Nittany Lions have covered just one of their last six November games and they are 1-7 ATS their last eight home contests. Play Iowa.
