Iowa at Penn State

Last year the Iowa Hawkeyes were the upstart team in the Big-10, and it looks like this year that team is Penn State. The Nittany Lions pulled off a huge upset over Ohio State two games back, and made it four straight wins after destroying Purdue last week 62-24. This is a team that is getting better every week, and the ground game has churned out over 700 yards in their last three contests. Iowa has lost three times already on the season, one to North Dakota State and isn't the same team that was going unbeaten through the regular season last year. Iowa grades out about even from the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball this year, while the Penn State ground attack has been good, it has set up the air attack which has generated an impressive 8.2 yards per attempt against teams that average allowing just 6.5. It is that advantage that will carry the day, along with a defense that is also considerably above average. Lay the points and play on Penn State.
