Iowa at Illinois

Iowa has to be a very upset football team. This is a team that has always had a defense-first approach, and last week they gave up 51 points at Minnesota. It was the first time since the 1995 season a Hawkeyes team allowed 50 points or more in a game. That isn't likely to occur again this week as they take on an offensively challenged Illinois team. The Illini scored just 14 points last game, and has yet to top 28 in conference play this season. They not only scored just 14 they allowed 55 themselves, and slipped to 4-5 on the season. Unlike Iowa, the 55 points were evident of a season long problem. Illinois has allowed 34 points or more in seven of their last eight games. When a team scores in the 20s, at best, in conference play, they will in trouble vs. an Iowa team that will be focused. The Hawkeyes have delivered a perfect 6-0 ATS mark after allowing 40+ points, so you can be sure they come to play in this one. Make the play on Iowa.
