Indiana at Michigan State

Indiana figured to be improved this season with 17 starters back, but the Hoosiers are even better than expected with a 3-0 record both straight up and ATS, including last week's 38-21 stunner over Michigan as a 4.5-point underdog. Michael Penix, Jr. threw for 342 yards and three touchdowns in Indiana's first win against the Wolverines since 1987. Ty Fryfogle had seven catches for 142 yards and a TD for the Hoosiers. Michigan State suffered a huge letdown after its big win over Michigan the week before and was blown out 49-7 at Iowa. The win over the Wolverines doesn't seem too impressive now as Michigan looks much weaker than expected. Also, the Spartans lost their opener to Rutgers 38-27 as a 9.5-point favorite. The Wolverines managed just 13 yards on 18 carries against the Hoosier defense, and Indiana is averaging 37.0 points per game. Indiana has covered six of its last eight conference games and four of its last five road games overall. Also, the Hoosiers are 6-0 ATS following a win dating to last season. Michigan State is 5-15 ATS its last 20 games overall and 2-9 ATS its last 11 conference games. The Spartans are 1-7 ATS their last eight November games. Take Indiana.
