Indiana at Illinois

Indiana won last year's meeting 23-20 covering as a one-point favorite and the Hoosiers come off their best game of the season with a 20-14 upset of Wisconsin on Saturday. Brendan Sorsby threw for 186 yards and a TD with no picks and the Hoosiers won despite being outgained 344-261. It snapped a four-game losing streak and gives Indiana some momentum to end the year on a high note. Illinois is 0-6 ATS its past six games as a home favorite and the Fighting Illini have not covered the number in eight straight home games and they are 2-7 ATS overall in 2023. Illinois did manage to eke out a 27-26 victory over Minnesota last week as Luke Altmyer threw for 212 yards and three TDs with an interception before being injured. It was backup John Paddock who completed a 46-yard TD pass to Isaiah Williams with 50 seconds left that gave the Illini the win. Altmyer is expected to play in this game.
