Illinois State at Iowa

Illinois State has been shut out the past two times it played an FBS school and the Redbirds have gone UNDER their past six games against FCS teams. They return an experienced offense, but it will be no match for the vaunted Iowa defense as the Hawkeyes allowed just 15 points per game in 2023. The bad news for Iowa was that it had one of the worst offenses in modern hisory averaging just 15 points and they were shut out their final two games against Michigan and Tennessee. Illinois State returns its top seven tacklers and nine defensive starters overall after allowing 20.5 points per game last year. Iowa returns five of its six top tacklers and seven on defense overall. The Hawkeyes went UNDER their final nine games last season.
