Idaho at Arkansas State

The recent conference shuffle left the Idaho Vandals without a conference affiliation, and are playing this season as an independent. That's not the only bad news for this team. Idaho has simply not been competitive as they are just 3-26 straight-up in their last 29 games vs. FBS teams. This season has proven to be no better as they have opened at just 1-5, with a 2-point win over a horrible Temple team the only bright spot. Idaho has allowed at least 40 points to all five teams in their five losses. Arkansas State is not as good as they have been in recent years, but they remain a solid play at home where they seldom lose, and are 2-0 here this season. The Red Wolves have bounced back off a 20+ point loss to post a 14-6-1 ATS mark in their last 21 following one. They are also 17-7 ATS as a favorite over the past three seasons. The Vandals a dismal 18-37-1 ATS following a loss in their last 56. Arkansas State big in this one.
