Houston at Texas State

Houston is one of the best coached teams in the country behind Tom Herman who was the Ohio State offensive coordinator under Urban Meyer. He took over the Cougars last season and went 13-1 SU, and 9-4 ATS. That included a 38-24 Bowl win over Florida State as a +7.5 dog. And if you didn't pay attention then, you did in Week 1 of this season with a 33-23 win over Oklahoma as a two-TD dog. He's now 11-5 ATS as Houston coach. The Cougars are on a 22-4-1 ATS run on the road, plus 28-12-1 ATS when following a straight-up win. They head out on the road to play a Texas State squad on a 3-9 spread run. This is a tough situational spot for Texas State, getting blown out at an SEC school last week in a 42-3 loss at Arkansas, giving up 241 yards passing, 226 rushing.
