Houston at East Carolina

East Carolina lost a tough one last week 27-25 at Cincinnati, but the Pirates fought back from a 24-12 halftime deficit and allowed only three points in the second half and they have allowed only 23.6 points per game this season. The Pirates had gone UNDER their previous two games, but this one went OVER by just a point and last year's meeting with Houston stayed UNDER even while going into overtime. Houston has allowed 36.2 points per game, but if we eliminate the anomaly of its ridiculous 77-63 loss to SMU two weeks ago the Cougars have given up 31.6 points per contest. East Carolina has averaged 25 points its past five games in regulation time. It did go OVER against Memphis, but in four overtimes. This is an inflated posted total. Take the UNDER.
