Hawaii had one of its biggest wins in the last several years by beating Nevada 38-17 as a three-point underdog last week. The Warriors outgained the Wolf Pack 566-397, including 344 rushing yards on 8.6 yards per carry. Diocemy Saint Juste racked up 205 yards on the ground on 10.9 yards per rush and Dru Brown was 15-of-18 for 222 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. Hawaii is 2-3 but their three losses have been away from home against Power 5 teams in California, Michigan and Arizona. Hawaii is averaging 203.2 rushing yards and San Jose State is allowing 268.2 yards on the ground. The Spartans are 1-4 and their only win was against an FCS school in Portland State. San Jose State lost 48-41 at New Mexico but got the money on a backdoor cover. Kenny Potter was 16 of 29 for 314 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. The last time the Warriors played here was in 2014 and it resulted in a 13-0 victory as a 10-point dog for Hawaii. The road team has covered the spread five of the last seven meetings and the Spartans have trouble putting together two great offensive games in a row as they have covered just one of their last five games after scoring 40-plus points. Grab the points and play Hawaii.
