Hawaii at Fresno State

The Fresno State Bulldogs had arguably their best team ever last year. They sent a pair of standout players to the NFL from that team that are performing well. That along with many other key contributors departing left this season to be very challenging. The Bulldogs have fought hard and improved, and have gotten themselves in position to earn a Bowl bid with a win vs. Hawaii. Hawaii is not the same team since the departure of June Jones. Jones had huge offenses, while this season Hawaii has put up 18 points or less in seven games. When you also have a defense that has allowed 20+ in 10 of their last 11 the win column is hard to find. That is why Hawaii comes in at 4-8 with nothing to play for. Fresno State has gotten this close, and a lot more out of this team than expected, and is going to be pumped up to close the deal and sneak their way into the Bowl season.
