Georgia Tech at Virginia Tech

Georgia Tech was up 35-10 at the half last week vs. Georgia Southern, and it looked like they took the second half off as they fell completely apart and found themselves down 38-35,needing a final 30 second score to claim the win. Virginia Tech gets a big win at Ohio State, and then last week they fall 28-21 to East Carolina. The Hokies are almost always strong on special teams and defense, but that has not been the case this year, relying more on the offense to bail them out. East Carolina went for over 500 yards on them, and I can't remember the last time a Frank Beamer team allowed over 500 yards to a team not from a power conference, so trouble lies ahead. The Hokies still have the reputation, but no longer the results as they are a woeful 13-27-2 ATS in their last 42 games. The Tech option has been a thorn, and the Jackets are not intimidated here where they are 4-0 ATS their last four here. Grab the points and go with Georgia Tech.
