Georgia Tech at North Carolina

Georgia Tech doesn't want to get into a shootout with North Carolina. Fortunately, the Yellow Jackets can run the football to control the ball and the clock, and are ranked #18 in the nation in rushing with 247.6 yards per game. This is only the third road game for Georgia Tech, where the defense is allowing 25.5 points per game. North Carolina prefers balance on offense, but the Georgia Tech defense has been stingier than the Tar Heels against the run this year at #57 in the nation. North Carolina has a fine defensive coordinator in Gene Chizik and they have looked sharp the last two weeks, allowing 13 and 14 points. They held Virginia to 2.8 yards per rush last week after holding Miami to 13 points and 3.9 yards per rush.
