Georgia Tech at Clemson

Everyone views this Clemson team like the one that won the National Championship last year. It is not up to the same level, but at the same time this remains an elite team. They do make more mistakes than last year's squad, and they simply do not have the firepower they did last year. The defense does not have the same depth, and while they remain elite, they have failed to cover 3 of their last 4 as expectations run too high. Georgia Tech has been a true surprise this season, but still ride under the radar. They are 4-2, but just 2 points from 6-0, as both losses have come by a single point. Clemson has yielded almost as many 4th quarter points as they have in the first 3 quarters, a testiment to depth, and the Tech pounding running game should have the advantage late in the game. Clemson QB Kelley Bryant will play, but out of concussion protocol may not be running much. Tech in this one.
