Georgia State vs. Western Kentucky

CURE BOWL - The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers eked their way into a Bowl game with a 6-6 record, posting the worst record they have had in seven years. The Hilltoppers won 25 games the past two seasons where the offense was the catalyst, averaging 44.3 points per game in 2015 and 45.5 ppg last season. This year they managed just 26.2 ppg, and the defense, which was never good, allowed 26.8 ppg - more than the previous two years. The offense was once good enough to overcome a mediocre defense, is no longer there to bail them out. Georgia State finished 6-5 and will be excited to get out and take on Western Kentucky, as they seek their first ever Bowl victory, having entered the FBS in 2013. The margin for error for Western Kentucky this season just is not there, and have only two wins all season by more than one possession vs. an FBS opponent. T think the motivated team is the Panthers, and Western Kentucky is not what we have seen the past couple of years. Take Georgia State for the straight-up win.
