Georgia State at UL Lafayette

The Georgia State Panthers have joined the Sun Belt Conference this season. While the defense does not appear ready to take on the FCS, the offense sure has a lot of ability behind QB Nick Arbuckle. The Panthers are ranked #44 on offense at 461 yards per game, and Arbuckle is generating 8.3 yards per attempt on the season, at 331 yards per contest. Big dogs tend to do well if they can move the football as is the case with the Panthers. UL Lafayette has not scored well in their three games vs. FBS opponents, and they have yet to top the 20-point mark. They should fare better here in this one against a weak Panthers' defense, but can they keep the Panthers from scoring enough to hold off the cover? I think the answer is "no" as they have given up at least 34 to all three FBS teams they have played. The Panthers own a 10-2 ATS mark following a loss, and they are 5-0-1 ATS after allowing 40+ in their previous game.
