Georgia State at Appalachian State

Appalachian State enjoyed remarkable success on the FCS level, and so far the going has been tough in the FBS as they enter this game at 2-5. What they have been able to do is score big against poor defenses as experienced in their previous game, a needed win vs. Troy where they dominated in an easy 53-14 win. That should give this team both a morale and confidence boost as they head into a very winnable game vs. Georgia State. Georgia State is just 1-7 on the season and has surrendered 30 points or more in every game. The lone win was vs. Abilene Christian and even that was an adventure as they won 38-37. This will be their eighth straight week playing and the team lacks depth, looks tired, and has lost all confidence with seven straight losses.
