Georgia Southern at UL Monroe

UL Monroe lost a lot of offensive talent while returning only five starters and it has shown in the first three games of this season, as the Warhawks lost all three while scoring a total of only 30 points. UL Monroe lost 31-6 to lowly UTEP last week, and the Warhawks now rank #67 out of 72 teams in yards gained and second-to-last in points scored per game. Georgia Southern comes off a last-second 20-18 loss to Louisiana, kicker Nate Snyder nailing a 53-yard field goal as the final gun sounded. The Eagles had taken the lead with 54 seconds left when Shai Werts connected with Khaleb Hood for a 28-yard touchdown pass and then the Eagles were successful on the two-point conversion. However, Louisiana quickly moved the ball to the 36-yard line and Snyder kicked the game-winner. J.D. King ran 24 times for 100 yards for Georgia Southern and Werts threw for 211 yards and a touchdown with one interception. The Eagles won last year's meeting 51-29 as a 6.5-point favorite and the Warhawks are 16-33-2 ATS their last 51 games after a loss and just 15-35-1 ATS their last 51 home games.
