Georgia Southern at Texas State

Georgia Southern has lost four in a row and already has fired its head coach, Chad Lunsford, and hired former USC coach Clay Helton after averaging only 15 points its last four games, including a 28-8 loss to Coastal Carolina on Saturday while gaining only 86 yards on the ground on 2.4 yards per carry. The quarterbacks, Justin Tomlin and Cam Ransom, combined for only 11 of 23 for 147 yards. Texas State is also having a tough season with a 3-6 record, although the Bobcats did defeat UL Monroe last week. Tyler Vitt threw for 262 yards and a TD, and Jahmyl Jeter ran for 92 yards on 16 carries for the Bobcats, who are in a revenge situation after losing 40-38 to the Eagles in 2020.
