Georgia Southern at Navy

This may be the right year for the Georgia Southern Eagles to be taking on Navy. Navy has not had a very good year at 4-5 on the season, and Georgia Southern has a very strong team, - one that defends the run very well. Navy also runs the option, so no surprise advantage for Navy in running their option as the Eagles defense goes against it daily. Navy has been the strongest team in CFB over the years as a dog for that reason, but that advantage is negated by a team that not only runs it better, but defends very well. Navy has not had a lot of success as a favorite as they cover just 45% as home chalk compared to 68% as a road dog. The Eagles are now 12-2 ATS in their last 14 overall, and Navy has been sunk in their last six at home vs. a team with a winning record at 0-6 ATS. Play on Georgia Southern.
