Georgia Southern at Georgia Tech

Georgia Southern let a victory slip from its grasp when it allowed Arkansas State to convert a fourth and 16 on its final drive in a 27-26 loss to the Red Wolves. Kevin Ellison was 14-of-22 for 203 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions. Ellison has completed 65 percent of his passes this season, however, the Eagles remain a run-oriented team that averages 286.6 rushing yards per game. Georgia Tech, of course, has been a run-first team since coach Paul Johnson installed the option offense. The Yellow Jackets have fallen on hard times recently and are #26 in the nation in rushing yards compared to sixth for Georgia Southern. Georgia Tech was 3-9 last season and has lost its last three games this year, including last week's 37-34 loss at Pittsburgh. The Eagles have covered the spread four of its last five after a loss and Georgia Tech is just 2-8 ATS when following a loss.
