Georgia Southern at Army

Georgia Southern has won three in a row, including 40-38 against Texas State last week when the Eagles piled up 386 rushing yards while allowing the Bobcats only 30 yards on the ground. Shai Werts ran for 120 yards and three touchdowns and the defense picked off three passes in the first half. Georgia Southern is #5 in the country in rushing yards with 275.6 per game and the Eagle defense is 20th in yards allowed and 24th in scoring defense giving up 21.5 points per game. Army had its four-game winning streak snapped in a 38-12 loss to Tulane as the Black Knights stepped up its competition after playing the likes of Mercer, UTSA, The Citadel and Abilene Christian. This will arguably be the toughest test for the Knights since losing at Cincinnati in September. The Eagles have covered six straight following an ATS loss and they have covered the spread four of their last five against Independents. The wrong team is favored in this matchup and play Georgia Southern on the money line.
